DIRECTOR & PSYCHOLOGIST

Carlie Belancic

Director & Psychologist

BSc(Psych & Nutr) DipPosPsych
PGDipPsych

Carlie: Data-driven optimist, leadership and people geek.

After starting her career in psychology and quickly stepping into leadership roles, Carlie became fascinated by what made some leaders excel while others struggled. She dove into the research, combining her psychology background and ability to dissect the science with real-world leadership experience to figure out how she could be the best leader possible. She then made it her mission to support others with this journey.

In her 15+ years of experience, here’s Carlie’s most important discovery: leadership isn’t just a promotion, it’s a career change. And like any professional career, it requires skill-building, continuous learning, and intentional practice. Leadership isn’t something you can ‘set and forget’ — it’s a fitness that needs to be developed and maintained.

Carlie loves nothing more than helping leaders and teams to build leadership fitness, because thriving leaders make thriving teams, thriving teams make thriving organisations and thriving organisations make a thriving community.

When she’s not diving deep into the latest leadership research, you’ll likely find her diving into the ocean - preferably in winter when it’s icy cold. Oh, and she once fed an elephant a cake for its first birthday.

The Official Stuff:

Carlie holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology and Nutrition, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and a Diploma of Positive Psychology. She is a registered psychologist, bringing a robust foundation in both the science and practice of psychology to her work with leaders and organisations.

LEADERSHIP & WELLBEING CONSULTANT

Isabel Papadopoulos

Leadership & Wellbeing Consultant

BArts (Psych)

Bel: Compassionate straight-shooter, wellbeing and leadership champion.

After a decade of working in mental health, psychological injuries, and organisational development, Bel saw a pattern — leaders weren’t struggling because they lacked technical skills, but because they didn’t know how to create the right environment for people to thrive. She became obsessed with understanding what sets great leaders apart and how to help them build teams that are not just high-performing, but genuinely happy, engaged, and resilient.

Her biggest takeaway? Leadership isn’t about ticking boxes — it’s about showing up with self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate challenges with confidence. Great leaders don’t just manage people; they build psychological safety, prioritise wellbeing, and create cultures where people want to do their best work. That’s what Bel helps leaders do — through coaching, workshops, and embedding wellbeing into workplace culture in a way that’s practical, impactful, and backed by science.

When she’s not working with leaders, you’ll find her hiking with her family, cooking up a storm while instigating a country music kitchen dance party, or getting lost in her guitar.

The Official Stuff:

Bel holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Design. She is a Registered Rehabilitation Counsellor and an accredited Work on Wellbeing Workplace Trainer. Bel is  certified in Mental Health First Aid — because knowing your stuff matters just as much as bringing the right energy to the table.

How we give.

The evidence is clear, displaying kindness towards others plays a significant role in enhancing our wellbeing.  Each time you work with us, we want you to experience the boost that comes from giving.

That’s why we are proud to partner with Escabags, a locally-based charity who are committed to supporting those in need in our local community and throughout Australia.

The Escabags mission is to help alleviate the immediate trauma of domestic abuse. They provide free and easy access to ‘Escape Bags’ - a kit of necessities that victims of abuse may need when escaping a dangerous situation.

Escabags empowers victims with the resources to continue their journey towards survivorship.

Each time you work with us, you support a donation of high quality, essential items toward these escape bags - including sanitary products, kids essentials, and personal alarms.
